Could Truex Hoist The Hardware At His Home Track, Dover?
This week the NASCAR traveling circus rolls into the capital of Delaware, Dover, home to Dover AFB and the East Coast domicile of the C-5B Galaxy. This weekend all three racing series, CWTS, NXS, and MENCS will be racing there. The Cup boys will be racing in 49th Annual AAA”400″ Drive For Autism, “The Monster Mile”, aka Dover International Speedway.
Our Dover Selections
As the above photo would suggest Martin Truex, Jr. is the overall choice of The Redneck Fantasy League this week at “The Monster Mile”. Those players who will be supporting, and rooting, on The 2017 MENCS champion include Snoopy Dawn, Linda R. The Lemonade Lefty,David The Mudslinging Throttle Jockey, as well as Ol Skid-Marc. All four players would really love to help celebrate a Truex victory at a race track that is the closest NASCAR track to his hometown of Bayetta, NJ. It could be a really cool “hometown” celebration!
As this segment heads towards its conclusion in just two weeks, the previously mentioned quartet would love to add a huge total to their segment totals and bolster their position within the scoring pylon!
With a trio riding shotgun this week this the third generation driver, and Team Penske young gun, Ryan Blaney, is hoping to drive his hot rod into Victory Lane and hoist the hardware. The trio carrying Blaney’s water is Jim, aka Chiefy, Carlton The Doorman, and Dan The Numbers Cruncher. Since all three players are mid-pack in the standings, a great finish by Blaney would be a huge shot in the arms of all three players!
Next, up for discussion, there are three drivers that have a support system of two players each this week. Alphabetically speaking, the first driver up on the list is “The Delivernator”, Denny Hamlin. Both Lonna The Quilt Angel and Bobby Blue Crush will be tag-teaming their support for the Joe Gibbs Racing, FedEx No. 11 Camry this week.
Meanwhile, Carlton The Doorman and Jerry The Buschwacker will be focusing all their attention this week on “Mr. Seven-Time”, Jimmie Johnson. Both are hoping that ol “JJ” can emerge at Dover from the longest losing streak in his NASCAR career.
Finally, Carole, aka Rudy and Don The Engine Builder are throwing all their chip up on the table and hoping that Ryan Newman can lead the field to the checkered flag at Dover.
Adding up the numbers this week, the above-named players total twelve players that have banded with other players in their weekly choices. That leaves a very large number in The Redneck Fantasy League, ten players in total, who are independent thinkers, and therefore are in bidnez for themselves!
Good luck to all!
