This week  the tour moves in on the smallest track raced on the tour, .53 mile. that’s just a little over a half mile race track.  It is also the slowest track on the circuit, top speed on the straights is about 125 MPH.  Accompanying the Sprint Cup Series drivers will be on the Camping World Truck Series, this week the Nationwide Series has the week off.

Reviewing some of our picks for Martinsville, I noticed a a couple of interesting picks by a player or two.  Bernie has selected a Michael Waltrip Racing driver for her choice, that would be Martin Truex, Jr.  Last year in the spring Martinsville race he had an extremely hard run in with the crash wall.  The hit was really unbelievably considering that this track is the slowest on the circuit!  Likewise, Zee has chosen Martin at Martinsville, unfortunately he isn’t in the MWR #55 Aaron’s Toyota this week.  Brian Vickers is in the seat and, therefore, sh will receive the points that the #55 car scores in the race!

Solo choices

Jeremy is the only player to pick “Big Daddy”, Jeff Gordon, for this race. Karen is the only one to select Kevin Harvick for this race.  Edie is the sole picker of Kenseth, Jerry has Dale, Jr., Carolyn has “Mr. Five Time”, Jimmy Johnson, Scott has Jamie Mac, Carlton is “stickin’ with Biff”, and our dirt trackin’, mud slingin’ midget chauffeur, David Prickett has picked “The Mayor”, Jeff Burton!

Again I ask the question; do they know something that we all don’t!

With the choices this varied, the results will be quite interesting Sunday evening!
