For those Dale Earnhardt, Jr. fans that are among us, he will be driving his JR Motorsports #5 Degree Chevy in the Nationwide Series race tonight from the Texas Motor Speedway.  He will be reunited with his former Nationwide Series crew chief for this race and for the few additional races that per runs in this series, “Pops”.  “Pops” is the nickname that has been hung on Tony Eury, Sr., which also happens to be Dale Jr’s uncle.

So for all you fellow REDNECKS do not forget to turn on your televisions this afternoon to SPEED at 3pm EDT, 12 noon for those of us on the West Coast for the beginning of the NASCAR race weekend.  Following the Sprint Cup practice will be the Nationwide qualifying on SPEED.  Thereafter, at approximately 8pm EDT or 5 PDT, tune your televisions to ESPN2 for the Nationwide Series race from the Texas Motor Speedway.

This race weekend promises to fast, furious, and very exciting!
