With just five races left in the first segment, NASCAR limps into the heartland of our country, Kansas.  This is the last race that they will be racing on this surface.  After Sunday’s race the road graders will roll onto the track and begin tearing up the racing surface.  In order to help facilitate all the work that is to be done immediately after this race, the fall Talladega race was moved up to the first weekend in October, and the Kansas race was given to old Talladega slot, the last weekend in October.

Looking at our picks for this weekend in Kansas, it is quite interesting.  There are seventeen of us in the fantasy league, however, there are thirteen different picks this week!  Kenseth was picked by three players, yours truly, Zee, and, Carole.  Two players, Scott and Bernie, have picked Carl Edwards.

The rest of the players have individual picks, which might make the standings change significantly.  You just never know what the luck of the draw/picks will do on any given Sunday, this week is definitely no exception!  The points difference between the top five is still pretty tight, and this weekend could put somebody new on the podium!
