NASCAR returns to the Michigan International Speedway for the second, and final race, at this facility for 2012.  As the series returns to Michigan, there is a new points leader, Mr. Five-Time, Jimmie Johnson.  If there was any thought that the Hendrick Motorsports #48 Lowe’s Chevy team has lost their focus, after not garnering their sixth championship in a row last year, you all need to think again!

Therefore, it appears that Jimmie Johnson, Chad Knauss, and the entire #48 Lowe’s team have their mojo back, are a force to be reckoned with, and are now back up top on the points leader board!

Now let’s take a look at our picks for the second race at Michigan International Raceway.

The Player’s Choices

Three players obviously need some kind of home repair, and have chosen to ride to Lowe’s with Jimmie Johnson.  Those three players, and do it “yourselfers”, are Scott, Richard, and Dan.  Likewise there are three players, Jason, Carole, and Carlton, who are “Zest”fully hoping that Matt Kenseth brings home a win at Michigan.

Yours truly and Marc must be in some insurance needs, and therefore, have chosen to ride with Kasey Kahne to the Famers Insurance office.  Additionally, it looks like both Carole and Dawn are somewhat hungry, and are willing to ride with Carl Edwards to the Subway shop Sunday.

If I didn’t know better, I would think that both Bernie and Zee are developing a drinking problem.  I think that both are wanting to “Grab a few Buds” with Kevin Harvick Sunday.  Lastly, Karen and Jim are just flatly gonna “stick with the Biff”!

The remaining players are, once again, in business for themselves with individual picks!
