This weekend NASCAR rolls into “the paper clip” at Martinsville,VA.  As I have mentioned in previous articles, this is one track, of the three bullrings of NASCAR, that should require, while filing out the paperwork for pit passes for the crews, that drivers and all crewmembers to check their egos, tempers, and weapons, at the pit gate!

This weekend the prevailing choice appears to be “Smoke”, Tony Stewart.  At Martinsville there four players who have jumped on the “fire truck” hoping that there is fire where there is “Smoke”! Those players supporting the “non-blocker”, are Karen, “Richard The NASCAR Picker”, Dawn, and “A&M Aggie Sue”.

Just as a side note, I wonder if Tony will apply some retaliation for being blocked at Auto Speedway.  Maybe, if he is running on the lead lap, and possibly in contention for a win, however unlikely that may be, show us how he doesn’t, wouldn’t, couldn’t block for the win!

Notwithstanding my tirade on Smoke, there are three players who are “sticking with the Biff” this weekend, Jim, Marc, and the cellar dweller, poor ol Carlton!

Both Johnson and Hamlin (Mark Martin is filing in this week) have two players each supporting their efforts at Martinsville.  Carole and Jason are rooting for the Hendrick Motorsports Lowe’s racing machine.  Both Dan and Jeremy have decided to take the replacement driver’s points for Hamlin this weekend.
