Kasey Kahne

This weekend is the last race for the first segment of the 2013 Redneck Fantasy League. With that in mind, and unless Karen’s pick crashes out just beyond taking the green flag, it looks like she is definitely going to place in the money, and quite possibly be the first segment winner!

Our picks for the final race of segment one

Kasey Kahne is the favorite going into the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte this weekend.  There are four players, Dawn, Dan “The Numbers Cruncher”, David “The Mudslinging Throttle Jockey”, and yours truly, all hanging their hats on the ol HMS Farmer’s Insurance #5 Chevy.

The second most popular driver this weekend is Dale Earnhardt, Jr.  Junior has three players, Carlton, Jason “The Creative Hippie”, and Richard “The NASCAR Picker”

There are also another three players, Jerry, Jim, and “Bernie The Bay Area Bandit” that are riding on the fortunes of Mr. Five-Time, Jimmie Johnson this weekend.

Tony Stewart, has two players that have selected him as their choice for Charlotte, Edie and Jeremy “The Coach”.

Lastly, Marc and “A&M Aggie Sue” are hanging with Carl Edwards as their choice for Charlotte.

The remaining three players are, once again, in bidnez for themselves!

For those of you who may not have caught the pictures that I have uploaded today on my Facebook page, then you are not aware that yours truly has landed in Indianapolis!  Today I spent the morning at the track, Community Day, taking some photos from gasoline alley, pit road, and other various places on the facility!  You might go to my Facebook page if you want to view a few of my pictures.

I was going to head over to Terra Haute for the Tony Hulman Classic non-winged 410 sprint car races this evening.  Unfortunately, it was rained out!  However don’t despair, (read don’t cry for me Argentina) tomorrow is the Hoosier One Hundred, that being, Silver Crown cars on the one mile dirt track at the Indiana State Fairgrounds!
