Jimmie Johnson

Ford Championship Weekend is upon us.

That signifies the end of the 2013 season, and the crowning of the new Sprint Cup champion.  Unless Jimmie Johnson has a catastrophic race, the 2013 championship is his!  Matt Kenseth has a mathematical chance, but the realities are such that Jimmie Johnson will be crowned the 2013 Sprint Cup champion, making him a six time champ!

Looking at our Redneck Fantasy League, it appears that “Jeremy The Coach”, with a 16 point lead over “Jason The Latent Tie Dye Hippie” and “Leon Your Most Humble Sheriff”, both tied for second place, has a very clear shot at winning the third segment.  Additionally, it appears that “Jeremy The Coach” may very well win the Chase picks, if the top three of Johnson, Kenseth, and ol Kylie, finish in that order!

Our Homestead Picks

Both Carl Edwards and Matt Kenseth have three players betting the farm on them.  “A&M Aggie Sue”, “Jason The Latent Tie Dye Hippie”, and Carole, may be seen hanging out at their local Subway sandwich parlor, eating a BMT, or buying some fasteners at Fastenal, all the while rooting for ol “Cousin Carl” this Sunday.

Meanshile, “Jim, aka Chiefy”, Edie, and “Jeremy The Coach” most likely will be pushing a shopping basket at the local Dollar General store, drafting each other down the isles, and cheering on Matt Kenseth!

Plainly, Zee and “Jerry The Buschwacker” are “sticking with The Biff” this weekend!

Lastly, Carlton and “Leon Your Most Humble Sheriff” are hoping that “Mr. Four-Time”, Jeff Gordon, can fight hunger and feed them with a season ending victory!

The remaining seven players all have individual picks, and we all know what that means, right?  They are totally “in bidnez” for themselves!

Good luck to all!

Now that J.J. has a 28 point lead, I guess you could say that Johnson is “Wanted Dead Or Alive”!
