We are all familiar with the phrase, “things are just bigger in Texas”.  Well this week that phrase holds some truth.  When the NASCAR boys and girl rolls into the Texas Motor Speedway they will find that TMS now has the biggest big screen TV in the world, “Big Hoss”.  They will also find some of the highest speeds and G loads that they will experience all season.  But that is all in a days work for them!

 

Our Texas Picks

 

This week ten of the sixteen players have individual picks.  We all know what that means, they are in “bidnez” for themselves!

 

However, there are three drivers that have two players each betting the farm on their success.  Carole and “Dan The Numbers Cruncher” will be rooting on one of “the beer wagons” this week, Kevin Harvick. Likewise, Edie and “Jerry The Buschwacker”, most likely, will be window shopping at Lowe’s trying to find whatever it is that they need for their home repair.  Lastly, both “Jeremy The Coach” and “Bernie The Bay Area Bandit” will be hanging out at their local Fastenal store trying to find the proper sack of nuts for their needs!

As was mentioned above, NASCAR will be in the Ft Worth area of Texas, however, that is nowhere close to “China Grove”.
