This week the racing commences on Thursday night, the Truck race, continues Friday night with the Nationwide Series Saturday night, culminating with the big boys of the Sprint Cup Series, in The Quaker State 400, all at the Kentucky Speedway.  It will be a fantastic fun filled race weekend for “the true rednecks”!

 

Our Kentucky Picks

 

As the title of this post suggests, the picks are all over the board!

The slim favorite this week at Kentucky is a driver who has yet to visit Victory Lane so far, Matt Kenseth.  The three players who are wearing yellow and doing some shopping at The Dollar General Store are, Dawn, “Jason The Latent Tie Dye Hippie”, and “Leon The Former Airline Captain, Strawberry Picker, Part-Time Cardiologist, and Your Most Humble Redneck Sheriff”!

Carole and “Karen The Highly Opinionated Southern Belle” are picking a really long shot, Jimmie Johnson!

Joey Logano has recruited “Carlton The Doorman” and “David The Mudslinging Throttle Jockey” as his rooters for the Kentucky race.

Lonna and “Jerry The Buschwacker” are hoping that Kasey Kahne can break out of his season of near wins, and drive his car into Victory Lane!

Brandon and “Jim, aka, Chiefy” are hoping “the blue deuce” of “Blazingly Bad” Brad Keselowski will log his second win of the season.

Meanwhile, both Edie and Marc are betting that Kurt Busch can replicate his earlier victory at Martinsville, this week at Kentucky.

Lastly, both Doug and Doug, Jr. are hoping that “Young Money“, Kyle Larson, will grab his first career Sprint Cup victory this weekend.

That leaves the remaining five players with individual picks.  Thereby, constituting that all those five individuals to be “in bidnez” for themselves.
