Clint Bowyer

This week, as the warmer temperatures beginning to heat up this country, NASCAR heads back northeast on I-95, once again, this time stopping at “The Monster Mile”, aka Dover International Speedway, in Dover, DE, for the weekend. All three of NASCAR’s top touring series, NGOTS, NXS , and MENCS will be racing at this high speed self clearing race track!

OUR DOVER SELECTIONS

This week a driver who has been operating just slightly below the the sweep of the radar, Clint Bowyer, is favored by one quarter of the players. Edie The Las Vegas Super Star, Jim, aka Chiefy, David The Mudslinging Throttle Jockey, as well as Dan The Numbers Cruncher are teaming up together in hopes that Bowyer can lead the field to the checkered flag, driver his hot rod into Victory Lane, hoist the hardware, and punch his ticket to the Playoffs.

Following Bowyer this week in popularity are three drivers with a rooting section of two players each. Alphabetically, the first driver to discuss last week’s GEICO 500 winner, Chase Elliott. Rooting for Chase at The Monster Mile is Bernie The Bay Area Bandit and the conservator of this fantasy league, yours truly, Your Most Humble Sheriff. Both players are of the opinion that Chase could be hoisting the trophy and “standing outside the fire!”

Meanwhile, Kilimanjaro Bobby and Linda B. The Cookie Mom are unanimous in their hopes that “The Deliverinator”, Denny Hamlin, will be driving his hot rod into Victory Lane and celebrating with his crew after the checkered flag flies.

Lastly, Jeremy The Coach and Carole, aka Rudy, hope that a winning fire has been lit underneath “Young Money”, Kyle Larson, and will emerge from his long winning drought at Dover and secure his way into the Playoffs with a much needed victory.

If you have done your basic math you will know that the above mentioned players adds up to ten. Therefore, that leaves eight players who have declared their independence by selecting singularly their own driver. That merely suggests that those individuals are totally in bidnez for themselves!

Good luck to all!

TIL NEXT TIME, I AMS STILL WORKING ON MY REDNECK!
