As this segment and the 2019 season continues to wind down, NASCAR makes its last visit to a short track, in particular, to one of the oldest facilities on the schedule, Martinsville Speedway.

OUR MARTINSVILLE SELECTIONS

Leading the pack with support this is the ol Emporia, KS native, Clint Bowyer. Even though Bowyer would have really loved to win the race at Kansas Speedway last weekend among his friends and family, there is no doubt that he would take a victory at Martinsville as a second choice! The trio of players who will be rooting loudly this week for him includes Snoopy Dawn, Carlton The Doorman, as well as Leon Your Most Humble Sheriff.

Following the above mentioned trio will be three drivers that have amassed a rooting section of two players each. Leading off the discussion this week, alphabetically, is Young Ryan Blaney (RYB). The two players who will be betting the farm on RYB, include Lonna The Quilt Angel and Bernie The Bay Area Bandit. Both ladies could really use a good outing from RYB at Martinsville!

Meanwhile, Linda B. The Cookie Mom and Kathy The Church Forecloser are joining forces to root Blazingly Bad Brad Keselowski on drive his hot rod into Victory Lane, hoist the hardware, and be the Round of Eight spoiler!

Lastly, Jeremy The Coach and Carol, aka Rudy, are both supporting Martin Truex, Jr. this week.

For those who maybe keeping a tally, there was nine players who have banded with another player to support a driver this week. Doing basic math in public, that leaves a grand total of seven players this week who are definitely in bidnez for themselves!

As the Round of Eight begins, the drivers and teams that get eliminated last weekend may be thinking about what could’ve been!
