Now that the Round of 16 has concluded with Freaky Fast Kevin Harvick winning two out of the three races in that round, is it safe to say that maybe Harvick is raising the bar single handedly, turning up the temp, and making a serious bid to add his second championship to his resume?
Some may say that the championship is Denny Hamlin’s for the taking. History will tell that story. Meanwhile, there are others that may say that Martin Truex, Jr. is just getting warmed up for his run to the top. It could happen.
Lastly, there are those Rowdy fans who are still holding on to the hope that Kyle Busch will break his year long winning draught, explode, and whip up on the remaining contenders. One could say that he, too, is running down a dream!
Nonetheless, it is safe to say that there are only seven races left to make a run to the top, and that this next set of three races will cull out the pretenders from the contenders!
With NASCAR’s return for the second race in “Sin City” comes the hype of the first race in the Round of 12. These drivers, the Round of 12, are most definitely “running down their dream”, each desperately is seeking to become the 2020 NASCAR Cup champion.
